Subject: 19563/Agmt/Tenn-Amer Water Co/Water Main Relocation Date: Fri, 24 Jan 1992 10:55:00 -0500 RESOLUTION NO. 19563 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE CITY FINANCE OFFICER TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST, RESPECTIVELY, AN AGREEMENT WITH THE TENNESSEE-AMERICAN WATER COMPANY FOR THE RELOCATION OF A WATER MAIN AT HURRICANE CREEK ROAD FOR AN ESTIMATED COST OF THIRTEEN THOUSAND, SEVENTY-EIGHT AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($13,078.00), OF WHICH THE CITY WILL REIMBURSE THE WATER COMPANY FIFTY PERCENT (50%), OR AN AMOUNT OF SIX THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY-NINE AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($6,539.00). BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department of Public Works and the City Finance Officer be and are hereby authorized to execute and attest, respectively, an Agreement with the Tennessee-American Water Company for the relocation of a water main at Hurricane Creek Road for an estimated cost of $13,078.00, of which the City will reimburse the Water Company 50% of this cost, or an amount of $6,539.00.
